BBL vs HALO: what’s the difference?
BBL stands for broad band light and is not the same as laser skin resurfacing. Both types of treatment have great benefits for the skin, however, which is why we offer both at our practice.
Laser skin resurfacing is used as a corrective treatment. BBL is not as aggressive as a laser treatment, and while it can be used for correction, is often used for preventative skin care maintenance as well.
At SMooth Solutions we use the HALO laser for skin resurfacing and often combine it with BBL treatments to achieve optimal results for our patients.
