Peptide therapy, a protocol, not a quick fix.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that work as signals — telling tissue to repair, metabolism to shift, sleep to deepen. Used under medical supervision they are a precise tool. The honest part: how well any of it is evidenced varies enormously from one peptide to the next, and we will tell you which is which.

The method, plainly stated.
A peptide is neither a vitamin nor a hormone. It is a short amino-acid sequence that binds somewhere specific and asks the body to do something it can already do. Which peptide, at what dose, for how long — and whether any of them is appropriate for you — are medical decisions. So this is a consultation-led service, and your formulary is agreed with a provider rather than picked off a menu.
- What it is
- Short amino-acid chains used to signal one specific process
- How it is given
- Most often a small injection just under the skin; some as capsules or topicals
- Where
- Started here, with some protocols continued at home once you have been shown how
- Course length
- Cycled over weeks to months rather than taken indefinitely
- Before you start
- A consultation, your full medication list, and labs where the protocol calls for them
- Evidence
- Varies widely by peptide — your provider will be explicit about what is well established and what is not
- Who oversees it
- Licensed medical providers, under physician oversight
Who this is for — and who it isn’t
Most clinics only publish the first list. Both matter.
A good fit if
- You have a specific goal — recovery, sleep, body composition — rather than a general wish to optimise
- You are willing to have a proper consultation, and labs where they are indicated
- Your basics are already in place: sleep, food, training
- You want a straight read on what the evidence does and does not support
Consider something else if
- You are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive
- You have an active or previous cancer diagnosis — that needs your oncologist in the conversation
- You compete under anti-doping rules; many peptides are prohibited substances
- You want to start something you read about online without a consultation
- You are hoping this replaces sleep, food and training rather than supporting them
Some peptides are well studied and some are barely studied at all. We would rather talk you out of one than take your money for it.

The terms explained.
- Peptide
- A short chain of amino acids — shorter than a protein — that acts as a signal in the body.
- Amino acids
- The building blocks that make up peptides and proteins.
- Subcutaneous
- Into the fat just under the skin, with a very short fine needle. Most peptide doses are given this way.
- Off-label
- Prescribing an approved medicine for a purpose it was not approved for. Legal and common — and something you should always be told about.
- Compounded
- Prepared for an individual patient by a compounding pharmacy rather than manufactured at scale.
- Cycling
- Running a course for a set period and then stopping, rather than taking something continuously.
- Secretagogue
- Something that prompts your body to release more of its own hormone, rather than supplying the hormone itself.
Frequently asked questions
Are peptides FDA approved?
Some are approved medicines. Many are not approved for the uses discussed here, and are prescribed off-label or compounded. That distinction matters, and your provider will be explicit about which category anything they recommend falls into.
What will it cost?
It depends entirely on the peptide and the length of the course, so we quote at the consultation rather than publish a figure that would not apply to you.
Would I be injecting myself?
Often, yes. The injection is small and goes just under the skin, and you are shown properly before anything goes home with you. If you would rather come in for each dose, that is fine too.
Is this a steroid?
No. Peptides signal your own systems rather than replacing a hormone. That does not make them risk-free, and a number of them are banned in competitive sport.
How long before I notice anything?
It depends on the peptide and the goal. Recovery effects can show within weeks; body composition and skin changes take months. Anything promising results in days is overselling.
Can I combine this with IV therapy or weight loss?
Frequently, yes — they are often run together. Tell your provider everything you are already taking so the plan accounts for it.
