What laser resurfacing treats
Fractional resurfacing works on the causes of aged skin — damaged surface cells and depleted collagen — rather than masking the appearance of them.

Numbing, then passes
Topical anaesthetic sits for thirty minutes and is fully removed. A single-use tip maps the area, then the handpiece delivers both wavelengths in measured passes with cold air throughout.

It treats a fraction of the skin while leaving surrounding tissue intact, which speeds healing. It delivers an ablative 2940 nm and a nonablative 1470 nm wavelength in the same pass: one resurfaces the surface, the other remodels collagen below.
How many laser resurfacing treatments will I need?
Usually one. Because the device is tunable, we can set the intensity to your concern in a single session. A second treatment is typically only needed for severe acne scarring or deep textural repair.
Does laser skin resurfacing hurt?
Most people report minimal discomfort. Numbing cream is applied for at least thirty minutes beforehand, and the handpiece delivers cooled air throughout the treatment.
How much downtime does laser resurfacing require?
Plan on four to seven days of social downtime. You can resume normal activities immediately, but expect redness, swelling and flaking during the first week. Around day three, small dark specks called MENDs appear as treated tissue works its way out, which is a normal part of healing.
When will I see results, and how long do they last?
Initial results appear within the first week, with the greatest visible improvement at two to three weeks. Collagen production continues for three to six months. With daily sun protection and good skincare, results last for years.
