The Best Booster to Pair With Every Laser and Facial

Almost any booster on our menu can technically be added to almost any treatment — the channel a laser or microneedling session creates doesn’t care which active rides along with it. But some pairings simply do more work together than others. Here’s how we typically match boosters to treatments, and why.

QUICK TAKE •  Pairings below are our most common recommendations, not hard rules. •  Your provider can add any booster to whichever treatment suits your goals. •  Matching booster to treatment is about matching the depth and purpose of each, not just what’s available.

LaseMD Ultra

LaseMD Ultra’s fractional channels make it one of the most versatile treatments to pair with almost any booster on our menu — Depigmentation and Vitamin C for tone, Mesotox or Hyaluronic Acid for smoothing and hydration, or Photoaging and X-DNA Gel for sun damage and recovery, depending on what you’re treating that day.

CO2 and HALO Resurfacing

These more intensive resurfacing treatments create a deeper channel, which is exactly why X-DNA Gel and Skinmark are common additions — the polynucleotides in both support the skin’s own repair process during a recovery window that’s already underway. Photoaging and Depigmentation are also frequently added for patients treating sun damage or pigment alongside resurfacing.

Microneedling and RF Microneedling

Microneedling’s fine channels are a natural fit for Mesotox and Mesopeptide (softening expression lines and rebuilding density), Skinmark (for acne scars and stretch marks), and Vitamin C or Glutathione when brightening is the priority. RF Microneedling, which reaches slightly deeper, is our most common pairing for Mesopeptide’s jawline and density work, and for Dutexome when scalp microneedling is part of a Hair Restoration plan.

BBL Photofacial and Hollywood Spectra

Both of these treat pigment and tone directly, which is why Depigmentation and Photoaging are the boosters we reach for most — they reinforce exactly what the laser is already doing to sun spots, melasma, and general photoaging.

Diamond Glow and PRÉIME DermaFacial

As facials rather than lasers, these treatments pair well with almost the entire brightening and smoothing lineup — Glutathione, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, and Mesopeptide are the most requested additions, since the facial itself is already gentle enough to make any of them a comfortable add-on.

Bottom Line

These pairings reflect what tends to work best together, but they aren’t the ceiling — if your concern calls for a booster outside the usual pairing, your provider can build that into your plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I request a booster that isn’t the ‘typical’ pairing for my treatment?

Yes — the pairings above are our favorites for each concern, not limits. Your provider can add any booster to whichever treatment suits you best.

Can I add more than one booster to a single appointment?

In many cases, yes — your provider will advise on which combinations make sense for your skin and treatment plan.

Does the booster change how long my appointment takes?

Typically only by a few minutes; boosters are designed to be added within your existing treatment window.
